It was such a beautiful day. We loved getting to be outside. I decided I might start offering you the service of having balloons for you here waiting? Do you like that idea? Ask if you want them! I can do it for you. It was fun.

Sana 6 Months
This is Mama's little girl. I loved spending the first year with her! I got to photograph her 2nd child a couple years ago. This is their 3rd child. The only girl. Mama knows how to do it right with all the girly frills.
I was just having a conversation the other day with a photographer friend. About wardrobe. Lots of times I see people pinning photo ideas on Pinterest. I wonder what it is about those photos they like? I wonder if they know what it is about those photos THEY like.
Many times it is wardrobe. This little pink dress is like spectacular. I mean this baby girl is spectacular. Her eyes?!?!? Her Smile?!?! BUT people the wardrobe matters. Go the extra mile. Reap the rewards.

These were at the Inn on the Lake in Canandaigua really minutes before a storm!
It was blustery and very "lakeside" weather.

Kristin and Eric's wedding day included a whole lot of dancing from the morning all the way until the end of the reception. They are super-laid back and casual.
Eric is a huge Grateful Dead fan and Kristin is extremely stylish and was able to really bring both of their personalities into the planning of their day.
It was a hot, hot day of course. BUT it was the perfect venue for it. They gave us total creative freedom which was SUCH a treat! Our goal was telling their story and giving them something unique to remember.

Our new studio space is just about complete. This family was the first to have their session there with Paul!
Mr. Handsome loved interacting with the camera. 3 year olds are never and I mean never easy. But when are they? He was so much fun!

Bridal Boudoir
I have been busy with boudoir this month. I always am! I am very very NOT into posting your boudoir photos publicly. They are in my eyes something super private and not for my marketing purposes! They are for you! And the person you share them with.
THIS however was a model who did some amazing bridal boudoir for us for a style shoot.

Blake's Year One
You will never regret having spent the money on the whole first year.
Put it on a credit card! (I wish I would have done that with my wedding photography…I'm not one to encourage debt, but it is something I would have spread out payment on in a heart beat for better photos!!! aaaahhh).
I have a new program I have been so hard at work on. Almost done and ready to show you.
We will be starting it off with a Maternity event! Come on new Mama's, lets spend this first year together!
Springdale Farm
This used to be a favorite spot to go for sessions. I almost forgot about it as my kids have gotten older.
I'm loving getting back to the spaces that I used to take my kids to play but now with my Oscar. It was baby animal season this time! It's such a wonderful place to go for a walk on a hot summer day.
Get there! It's totally free but it never hurts to make a donation. And of course call me to bring me along because are so many beautiful spots for portraits. You can set that up here.
The Spencer Family
The studio is great. I have so many beautiful props for babies and I love it for maternity. But I really love coming to families homes for their sessions. I know lots of people don't think they're home is beautiful enough for a photo session. But I strongly disagree.
Your home is so many things. It's your pets, your kids bedrooms where they play. It's the view you look at all the time. It's your front door. It's really a window into the lives of you and your children when they're little.
Don't hesitate to have me come to your home. Part of my skill is finding beautiful spots. This family loves their view from their backyard, so that's where we spent most of our time. I love to be at candid moments with the families and the kids. Their dog stayed right with us the whole time. I did no wrangling, she just did what she did and it was perfect.

Five
There are so many different milestones.
I think every family has things that are milestones to them.
Five is a big one or whatever age you send your little one off to kindergarten.
It is often the last time I'll see your Littles for a while, as they start the dreaded school photos.
It's kind of like your last little time with your baby before they turn into a big kid.
